It says to put the transfer case in neutral, which I can't electronically (stuck in 2Hi) so it says you can turn the shaft manually with pliers. But I can't find how do you know what position is neutral.

Transfer case stuck in neutral fix

While operating this vehicle on my property in 4wd the transfer case became stuck in 4wd. It still is stuck in 4wd and won't return to 2wd as it should. I've been forced to remove the front driveshaft (no easy task) to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on the front differential.

I tried shifting from 4-hi to 4-lo was able to get it in, then shifted back to 4-hi. Took vehicle for drive transfer case went into neutral, now can't get it into 4-hi or 4-lo.
